For over 70 years, Bodega
Marichal
has been our family boutique winery.
Following our proud family tradition, as
well as using the most modern winemaking
techniques, we produce Premium Uruguayan
wines. Today, the third and fourth
generation are leading this company that
produces international quality wines.
Great wines can only come from great
grapes. We start making the wine in the
vineyard, we accompany its growth and its
breeding in our winery.
Our wines are born from grapes that are
grown in our own vineyards, 50 hectares
located in Etchevarría, Canelones, in the
South of Uruguay.
The soils in this region form mild slopes
which are argillaceous, calcareous and semi-permeable.
Grape varieties: Tannat, Merlot, Cabernet
Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir,
Chardonnay, Semillón and Sauvignon Blanc.
100% hand picked grapes and a small family
winery allow us to obtain every harvest,
unique handcrafted wines.
Visit us, and share with us a wine tasting
in our original family house. It is the
place where our family tradition and the
unique personality of our wines meets to
explore our senses.
