The Family Varela Zarranz invites you to its house, to enjoy together the experience of wine in a unique atmosphere.

Only 20 minutes from the airport is Viña Varela Zarranz, one of the oldest and most beautiful wine establishments of Uruguay.

 The entrance is bordered by centennial olive trees which, through the vineyards, lead to the winery, funded by the end of the nineteenth century.

This historical “treasure” lasts today in the main building and in the underground wine cellar, constructed in 1892, where you can find the greatest French oak tonels collection still in use in our country, in perfect harmony with the new barrels where the best wines of the family, rest part of its life.
